Cancellation Policy for Social Media Agency

At DezineGuru, we strive to provide the best services to our valued clients. We understand that circumstances may change, and sometimes cancellations are unavoidable. To maintain transparency and ensure a fair process for both parties, we have formulated the following cancellation policy:

  1. 1. Cancellation Request:

Clients who wish to cancel their social media services with DezineGuru must submit a formal cancellation request in writing. The request should be sent to our designated email address.

  1. 2. Cancellation Charges:

The cancellation charges will depend on the stage of the project and the notice period provided by the client. The following charges will apply:

a. Cancellation before Commencement of Services:

If the client cancels the contract before any work has commenced, there will be no cancellation fee. However, any non-refundable deposits or upfront fees paid will not be reimbursed.

b. Cancellation during the Initial Phase:

In case of cancellation after the project has started but is still in the initial phase (within the first two weeks), the client will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 25% of the total project cost.

c. Cancellation during Ongoing Services:

If the client decides to cancel the services after the initial phase (more than two weeks after the project start date), the cancellation fee will be 50% of the total project cost.

d. Immediate Cancellation:

In case of immediate termination of the contract by the client without giving a reasonable notice period or due to a breach of contract from their end, the cancellation fee will be 100% of the total project cost.

  1. 3. Refund Policy:

- The cancellation fee mentioned above will be deducted from any prepaid amount or deposit made by the client, and the remaining balance (if any) will be refunded within 30 days from the cancellation date.

- If the client has not made any upfront payment and works on a monthly retainer basis, they will be liable to pay the cancellation fee as per the applicable terms.

  1. 4. Exceptions:

- We understand that certain situations may warrant exceptions to the cancellation policy, such as force majeure events or circumstances beyond the client's control. In such cases, we will review the situation on a case-by-case basis to determine the appropriate course of action.

  1. 5. Communication:

- All cancellation requests and related communication should be made in writing to ensure clarity and record-keeping.
